BC Romanian Community Center BC Romanian Community Center is a well known non-profit organization in Lower Mainland Vancouver. One of its most successful yearly events is the Romania Festival scheduled every year on the last Saturday in November. It is a festival celebrating Dec 1st, Romania's national day. The festival is well attended by Canadian and Romanian VIPs such as from the local, provincial and federal government, as well as from Embassy of Romania in Ottawa and Romanian consulates in Canada. Its 8th consecutive edition will be celebrated on Nov 29th, 2008 with a gala show @ Massey Theatre in New Westminster. Every year the gala show brings on stage local artists, as well as well known artist guests from Romania.
